Longtime Santa Clara community leader Anita Marencia died November 23, 2011. A life-long Santa Claran, Marencia was known for active participation in the community and her boundless energy.
She was an active member of the Santa Clara Woman’s Club, the Santa Clara Women’s League, and was a dynamic force at the Heart of the Valley Senior Services, where she served on the Board of Directors. Marencia is survived by her beloved daughter Donna and fond feline companion BB.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on December 15, 2011, at Campbell United Methodist Church, 1675 Winchester Blvd., Campbell. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Heart of the Valley Services for Seniors or another charity.
