The City of Santa Clara has released the lineup for this year’s Sunset Cinema series. From now through October, the City will host outdoor movie nights at various parks throughout the City. The events are all free and offer families a chance to gather together to enjoy a kids’ movie together.
The City encourages families to bring lawn chairs, cozy blankets, movie munchies and more for the movie nights under the stars. An inflatable screen will allow for great viewing areas from around the park.
All of the movies start around sunset, but you’re encouraged to arrive early to secure the best spot. The City encourages carpooling or using alternative transportation options because parking can be limited around some of the locations.
The first movie of the series happened on April 12 at Henry Schmidt Park on Los Padres Boulevard.
May 10 – Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie
The second film happens tonight at Montague Park at 3595 MacGregor Lane in Santa Clara.
In Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie, the pups of the Paw Patrol must learn to navigate the super powers they suddenly get when a magical meteor crash lands in Adventure City. Chase, Rocky, Skye, Marshall and the rest of the gang must work together to form The Mighty Pups.
Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie stars the voice talents of Kristen Bell, James Marsden and Taraji P. Henson. It is rated PG.
Movies begin around sunset. Due to limited parking availability, consider carpooling or using alternative transportation options to make the most of your movie night adventure.
